About the Virtual Summit

For over two years, Pastor Jeff McCullough has been exploring Latter-day Saint doctrine, history and culture and sharing reactions and views from a Protestant, Evangelical viewpoint. Now he's expanding the conversation!

Pastor Jeff has partnered with Kurt Francom from Leading Saints to assemble a team of almost 20 speakers, half Protestant, half Latter-day Saint who will explore a range of topics. Where do Protestants and Latter-day Saints have agreement and where do they have distinct beliefs on issues pertaining to doctrine, worship, ritual and culture? Each day you will hear a presentation or interview from an Evangelical and a Latter-day Saint on a single topic so you can be more informed on their respective views. Some of the topics will include:

 Summit FAQs

  • The Hello Saints Virtual Summit Replay will take place over a 10 day period between November 4th-November 13th. Each day there will be a single topic covered by two speakers, one Latter-day Saint and one Protestant. So everyday you will hear a presentation on the topic from the respective faith context of each speaker.

  • The purpose of the Hello Saints Summit four-fold:

    1. To bring more voices to the conversation between Latter-day Saints and Protestants.

    2. To create an opportunity for all of us to become more informed about our respective beliefs to dispel misconceptions.

    3. To equip Latter-day Saints and Protestants as the approach conversations with one another.

    4. To have important conversations about truth and salvation so that Jesus may be seen most clearly.

  • No. The purpose of this summit is not to debate, nor is formatted for individual speakers to present comparative an analysis between the LDS church and Protestant church. Rather, the purpose is to become fully informed about each respective belief system and draw your own conclusions and analyses.

  • Yes. Every talk will be free for 24 hours on the day that it is presented. HOWEVER, they will expire after 24 hours and replaced by the next day’s sessions. You can gain continuous access to all talks if you are interested in making a donation to Hello Saints (Hello Creative).

  • Anyone who makes a one-time donation to Hello Saints (Hello Creative) will receive an All-Access Pass as a thank you. The one-time donation request begins at $69 but increases to $75 once the Summit Replay begins. Click on the donate button on the at the top of this page.   • For those who register with a free ticket, each talk is available for 24 hours on the day that the talk is posted. For those who receive the All-Access Pass, talks will be made available on the day they are released and remain available indefinitely at hellosaints.podia.com
